FROM: Svetlana Aleksandrova (Coventry University) & Andrew Williams
(University of Chester)
SUBJECT: Meeting 6 - Special Interest Group in Particulate Matter
Filtration
The sixth meeting of the Special Interest Group in Particulate Matter
Filtration in Automotive and Marine Applications [1] will take place at
the UNIVERSITY OF CHESTER ON SEPTEMBER 10TH, 2019. Since this is the
last of the SIG meetings sponsored by the UK Fluids Network, we decided
to dedicate it to looking forward, discussing and identifying the
challenges facing particulate filtration, identifying the gaps in
knowledge, etc. Thus the meeting title is "Future Challenges and
Directions for Particle Filtration" [2].
Please use the meeting page [2] to register. The meeting agenda and
other information will appear there when available.
We are now looking for speakers. If you would like to contribute, or
there are speakers you would like to see presenting at the meeting,
please let us know. PhD students are very welcome to present too.
Feel free to forward this message to any interested parties, as the
meetings are open to everyone. There will be funding available for PhD
student attendance as usual, and posters in all topics relevant to the
group activities (and any adjacent areas) are welcome.
