DETAILS: The next British Society of Rheology NNC (Non-Newtonian Club)
meeting is coming up on Wednesday 6th September at the University of
Warwick.  

The NNC is an informal rheology discussion group which provides
low-cost, half-day or one-day meetings. The upcoming meeting is free to
attend and you do not have to be a BSR member, but it does require
registration - please see this link [5]. There is a flyer for download

The BSR is a close-knit yet international community. Whilst presentation
slots are still available there is no onus to present, making this
excellent for those who are starting out or on the fringes of rheology
in academia or industry.

introducing the interaction between shock waves and boundary layers, a
ubiquitous element of compressible flows. The course will be of use to

aerodynamics, as shock boundary layer interactions (SBLIs) occur
throughout high-speed aerodynamics and high-speed propulsion. Typical
applications include both external and internal supersonic flows, rocket
nozzles, aircraft wings, gas turbine blades, rocket aerodynamics
including separation of stages, and boosters, ramjets, scramjets,

design, manufacturing and testing of stirring devices. They will study
and identify the optimal mixing properties that can lead to meaningful
