DETAILS: The Summer '23 Call for Project Access (PA) [4] to ARCHER2, via
the HEC-WSI, is now open (closing date: FRIDAY 21ST JULY 2023). This
access mode is designed for 12-month projects with a large allocation of
units (up to 25,000 CUs) for project runs. Please visit the HEC-WSI
Access Modes page [1] for more details on accessing ARCHER2 via the
HEC-WSI, including alternative access modes for smaller scale projects
(which are permanently open for applications).

engineers
DATE & LOCATION: 5 July 2023, Room A17 Maths, University of Nottingham.
DETAILS: A workshop on MRI measurements of flow and turbulence will be
held at the University of Nottingham, where researchers and academics
who are interested in using 4D flow MRI can learn the state-of-the-art
techniques from experts (see the list below). This workshop is targeted
not only for clinicians dealing with the diagnosis of blood vessels with
atherosclerosis or aneurysm, but also for engineers designing
machineries with concealed flow channels such as the nuclear power
plant, engines and pumps. There will be a visit to the Sir Peter
Mansfield Imaging Centre to see the world-leading MRI facility as part
of the workshop.
